We have been able to extend our room block until October 17,

San Diego Lindbergh Field, off Interstate 8 at Hotel Circle in

Internal Shuttle
The Town and Country is a quite large. For
those needing help getting around the property, they provide
an internal golf cart shuttle service; simply contact the
Bell Desk.
Parking
The hotel parking fee will be $6.00
per day for hotel guests, including in/out privileges. The fee for non-guests
will be the “prevailing rate” (currently $16.00
per day) without in/out.

With a San Diego Trolley stop right outside,
you will have easy access to downtown San Diego and all it has
to offer — and the Fashion Valley Mall is just across the
parking lot. There are over 600 restaurants within a one-mile
radius of the hotel, including Starbuck’s, McDonald’s,
California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, Benihana, Joe’s
Crab Shack, and Pat & Oscar’s; within half a mile, there
are over 100.
How the Room Numbers Work The
room numbers are four digits (e.g. 1218). The first digit
indicates the building; the second is the floor; the third and
fourth are the room.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi will be
available in the large Golden Pacific Foyer. Internet access
is also available in sleeping rooms for $10 per day.
ATM
There
is an ATM outside the hotel lobby and one outside the Atlas and
Royal Palm Ballrooms (go out via the Lion Fountain Court).
The
Bar at World Fantasy
Though the Town & Country has
multiple bars on its grounds, we have made arrangements with Trellises
to stay open until the mandated 2AM closing time (see below). In
effect, it will be the WFC bar in the evenings. It will offer
a variety of San Diego microbrews and wines in addition to the
standard alcoholic beverages and we encourage you to patronize
it.
California Law/Hotel Bar Policy
By
law, all bars must shut down at 2AM. Last call for drinks
in all hotel bars will be at 1:30AM, with all drinks/glassware
cleaned up by 2AM closing.
Hotel Package Receipt Policy The
Town & Country charges for receiving packages on a sliding
scale based on weight. You’ll need to pay these fees
before claiming your package(s). To make other arrangements,
please contact Rina Weisman, Publisher Liaison, at publiason@wfc2011.org. WFC
assumes no responsibility for packages shipped to the hotel.
During the weekends of October 21–23
and October 28–30, all Trolley stations between Old Town and
City College will be closed. Substitute bus shuttle service will
be available.The Trolley stations
will be closed beginning 9 p.m. on Friday and will reopen for the
